Every Belgatto banjo is built by me, Matt Welsh, by hand - shaped, fitted and finished in my studio. Honest craftmanship and instruments that feel like they have already lived a life.

Already a banjo player, I went to school to become a luthier... I always have a hand carved archtop on the go at some stage...but I focus on open back banjos.
